Stay in Control

With so many systems in the home all needing to be controlled, it can very quickly become complicated and cluttered. Every system needs a remote or keypad or app or key-fob. Some examples are:

  • Aircon
  • TV
  • DSTV
  • Apple TV
  • Music
  • Gates
  • Pumps
  • Curtains & Curtains
  • Alarms
  • CCTV
  • Underfloor heating
  • Heated towel rails
  • Lights
  • Geysers
  • Irrigation
  • Pools

Not only does it create clutter, but remembering how to control each one, with its unique interfaces and multitudes of options and buttons is tedious.

A control system integrates everything into a simple, easy, and intuitive system that anyone can control immediately. Whether via a beautiful touch panel on the wall (which replaces all of the other keypads and panels) or via the app. The interface is consistent and obvious. Giving non-technical people full control of their homes.

Lighting Control

Large houses have lots of lights circuits, not only to illuminate spaces, but to bring the architecture and interiors to life. Setting the lighting to it’s optimal levels takes some attention.

With a lighting control system, these scenarios are created and saved for convenient control. Making it much easier to illuminate a space with one button on a keypad, instead of multiple dimmers and switches all over the walls.

We end up repeating routines every morning and evening. A control system is setup to take the repetitive actions and make it a single step: A “Dinner” button turns on the whole entertainment space with all of the LEDs, downlights, spotlights and lamps set their optimum levels. A “Goodnight” or “Leave” button turns all lights off with a single press.

Usually this would mean multiple switches in different areas to figure out which switch controls which lights, and manually set them to the right level every time. And then repeating the steps in reverse to turn them all off again. Every single night. Integration allows us to control everything from our phones, and save favourite scenarios for quick selection.

Keypads are beautiful and custom-finished to match the interiors of the house with glass, metals and polymer options. Buttons are custom engraved and backlit for intuitive control.

Light keypads with 4/8 buttons significantly reduce wall-clutter by replacing multiple light switches in every space. They can also be used to control automated shades and curtains, thereby reducing the need for more remotes and keypads.

Audio

A distributed audio system allows music to be played throughout the home. Choose which zones are grouped together, adjust volume and source in each area. The system is designed into the space to be invisible, seamless and easy to control. With access to all favourite streaming services

Home Cinema

Millions of dollars go into creating box office masterpieces of theatrical brilliance, taking viewers on an immersive journey. This is why people pay to visit Cinemas for the latest movies.

With a properly designed THX system, viewers can be transported into the realm of the writers without leaving their homes.

When designed properly, the cinema becomes a portal into other worlds. From multi-use lounge spaces to dedicated home cinemas.

Custom designing these solutions is a creative exercise aimed to merge sound, visuals and space.

Network

WiFi is a non-negotiable and a WiFi router at the corner of the house won’t cut it.

With all of the items in the home needing connectivity, it’s important to ensure that the infrastructure can accommodate all of the Smart TVs, phones, laptops, appliances, security, access control, control systems and audiovisuals.

Networks are designed to be invisible, and everywhere, with premium hardware to ensure optimal connectivity.

Access Control

Communicate with guests and service providers wherever you are with intercom to phone and home. Open up doors and gates remotely if need be.

With biometric readers, it’s no longer necessary to carry a bunch of keys for all of the different doors.

Facial reader intercoms act as intercoms, tag readers, facial and fingerprint readers all in a single neat unit. Keeping the look and feel minimal and uncluttered.

Owners can come and go seamlessly and control who as access and when.

CCTV Surveillance

Cameras with artificial intelligence are able to identify intruders and distinguish them from foliage and animals. No longer is CCTV a passive system used to find out what happened retrospectively, but now it is used as the primary realtime alert system to alert security, address the site audibly and direct armed response.

Thermal cameras have the ability to identify intruders hundreds of meters away and trigger spotlights, offsite monitoring and audible alerts. They’re able to inform armed response of intruders positions for prompt response.
